New Launch: Public Writer Profiles

New Launch: Public Writer Profiles

Since the start of nDash, we’ve made it our mission to attract and reward the world’s best freelance writers. We let them set their own rates, enabled them to proactively pitch companies’ unique content ideas, and list their full experience on a completely transparent profile page. Until recently, however, those profiles were only visible to brands on the nDash platform. We’re excited to announce that, as of today, writer profiles are now searchable to everyone. This is just one of several new enhancements to the nDash platform, so let’s take a look at what’s changed.

Public Writer Profiles

Much like other social networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), nDash will now display a limited, public version of your profile to prospective companies. These profiles are searchable to anyone who visits the nDash website. We’ll be displaying all the key details of your profile (experience, areas of expertise, writing samples, etc.), with the one omission being your rates. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage nDash to get more exposure for yourself and your freelance writing services.

But here’s the best part: Anytime a company signs up to the nDash platform from your profile page, you’ll be credited with a lifetime referral. That means anytime that brand completes an assignment—regardless of who wrote it—you’ll collect a portion of the revenue for the life of the customer!

Thus, it’s now important to share your profile link as much as possible. Here are a few ways to do this:

  • Include it on your website or blog
  • Include on your LinkedIn profile
  • Share it via social media
  • Make it part of your email signature

The bottom line is that it’s more important than ever to make sure your writer profiles are completely up-to-date. It’s not just brands inside the system searching; it’s potentially tens of thousands of the world’s top brands looking for writers like you. Make sure you stand out. We’re excited to share your collective talents (and potential) with a much wider audience.

New Languages in Writer Profiles

The public writer profiles aren’t the only change we’ve made. Due to a large number of companies requesting writers in various languages, we’ve also added language search to the nDash writer community. By default, all current writers have been assigned “English” as a primary language, but if you’re bi-lingual, then be sure to add those languages for more opportunities.

Dashboard Module for New Brands

With hundreds of brands joining nDash every month, it’s hard to keep track of who’s new. To make it easier. We’ve replaced the “Brands to Pitch” module with “New Brands on nDash.” Keep in mind that many of these brands have yet to complete their group profile, but as we’ve discussed in the past, that’s a great time to pitch them original content ideas.
